Donnington Grove Veterinary Surgery is the main centre of the small animal department. There are three consulting rooms, a sterile operating theatre with two operating tables, a separate area for non-sterile procedures and hospitalisation facilities for most pet species.
We have extensive diagnostic facilities including:
- radiography (x-rays)
- blood pressure measurement
- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- nuclear scintigraphy
- an on-site professional laboratory
Donnington Grove Veterinary Surgery has nursing staff on site 24 hours a day to care for hospitalised animals, enabling us to care for critical patients. The dog ward has kennels for 17 dogs appropriate for the smallest and largest breeds. There is a separate cat ward with cages for 16 cats. In addition, we have an isolation ward which holds 5 animals so that animals with potentially contagious diseases may be kept separately.
Our two branch surgeries at Thatcham and Tadley also have facilities for consulting, sterile and non-sterile procedures, radiography and ultrasonography.
