Pat Taylor BSc FIBMS
Pat graduated in Animal Sciences at Nottingham University. After gaining an HNC and Fellowship in Haematology, left the Health Service and integrated a passion for horses and racing into a career by working for Michael Dickinson. Further experience was gained by working for a commercial veterinary laboratory before joining the Practice in 1989.
Having owned many horses over the years , she has recently seen the error of her ways, and now limits herself to a border collie, an ex-CPL cat called Tabitha and a flock of very productive poultry.
Sarah attended Leeds polytechnic and gained an HNC in Medical Microbiology in 1979. She then worked in the Bacteriology Depts. at Scarborough hospital and Queen Mary's, Roehampton. She left the NHS to start a family but returned to work part time at Donnington Grove in 1993, once her 2 girls were settled at school.
She left us to move abroad in1997 and after some further time in a commercial laboratory, saw the light and returned to work here full time in 2003.
She now lives locally with her 2 yellow Labradors, Lillie and Maggie.
Carolyn began work as a junior MLSO in the Microbiology dept. of a NHS hospital in NE Scotland and studied at Robert Gordons University, Aberdeen, to gain her HNC in Medical Microbiology. She was promoted to Senior MLSO, a position she held for 13 years.
On moving to Newbury in 1994 she began work for the practise and achieved HBLB approval for CEMO testing, for the laboratory, in 1997.
She has two children and is a keen runner.
Tiffany Baker BSc (Hons) MSc
Tiffany joined the practice in October 2015. Tiffany gained her BSc (hons) from Portsmouth university and graduated in 2012. After graduating, she took a year out working and playing for a polo club before completing her masters degree in Veterinary microbiology at Surrey University (school of Veterinary Medicine) graduation in 2014. Tiffany then went on to the Pirbright institute to research African Horse Sickness Virus (control measures) and published a paper in 'Journal of Parasites and Vectors' (Baker et al. Parasites & Vectors (2015) 8:604). Tiffany worked at The Liphook Equine Hospital before joining Donnington Grove.
In her spare time she enjoys playing polo and looking after her little dog 'Milly'.
Natasha joined the practice in August 2016. Previously she worked in the laboratory at Valley Equine Hospital (Ridgeway Veterinary Group) in 1994 becoming Laboratory Manager in 1997. She gained an HNC in Applied Biology at Worcester College in 2010.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her partner Colin and daughter Emily.
