Laboratory

The laboratory was founded in 1989, and underwent a significant expansion in 2001 when it moved into a purpose built facility. The laboratory is staffed by a team of 4 biomedical scientists with varying areas of interest and expertise, giving a cohesive multidisciplined approach. They have at their disposal a wide range of specialist veterinary laboratory equipment which is frequently monitored for precision and quality control allowing us to maintain consistent results.

The laboratory staff prides itself in not only obtaining an accurate analysis of samples submitted, but also in interpretation of results. These are communicated directly to the vet involved, or to the client depending on the circumstances.

The laboratory is open to submission of samples from referring veterinary surgeons, when prior communication will often help in optimising the service provided.
