Fees and payments

The majority of farm visits are charged on a time basis with our hourly rate being in the region of £90 plus VAT. Chargeable time is from arriving on the farm to departure: the more organised your animal handling is, the better value the visit will be. Surgical work, such as a caesarean section, is normally charged on a per procedure bais. There is a fee for travelling to the premises, which depends on the distance of your premises from Newbury. Under some circumstances we will charge an out of hours fee if an urgent visit is requested outside normal office hours.

The price of any work and medicines can be discussed in advance although the nature of the work may make it difficult to give accurate estimates.

By cheque to our Donnington Surgery or by credit/debit card (Switch, Solo, Mastercard, Visa or Delta) using the Remittance Advice Sheet issued with account payee's statements.
