Laparoscopy and other Standing Surgeries
Not all of our operations are performed under general anaesthesia. Many procedures can be performed under regional anaesthesia including sinus trefination, kissing spine surgery and laparoscopy. Laparoscopy uses a camera and long instruments to operate in the abdomen through minimal incisions. Removal of a diseased ovary is an example of surgery which can be performed with laparoscopy.
