Sport and Leisure Horses

From a childs first pony to horses competing regularly on the international stage, we aim to provide a top quality service, responding to our clients needs. From providing simple advice on the phone, to an emergency response for an acute injury or colic, we have the staff and resources to react to all problems appropriately.

We concern ourselves with all aspects of horse health and poor performance be it the competitive or geriatric horse or pony.  We are fortunate that we have vets with specific interests in show jumping, dressage, eventing, polo and endurance riding.  

We aim to provide a wide-ranging preventative health programme for our clients through dental care, vaccination advice and health checks. 

Vets from the practice regularly attend many of the major horse trials, including Badminton, Gatcombe, Blenheim and Highclere, as well as many local Point to Points, Newbury Show and provide cover for many local riding club, hunt and pony club events.
